Novinky - Česi ovládli 6.ročník IIHF šampionátu SK/EN

České levy vyzerali po základnej časti na spadnutie.

Základná časť sa odohrávala počas letných prázdnin v tropickom teple a preto sa netopil len ľad pod hokejistami, ale aj hokejisti na ľaďe. Odzrkadlilo sa to aj na aktivite viacerých manažérov. Za zmienku stojí tím Česka, ktorý vďaka taktiež slabej aktivite Švajčiarov postúpil do play-off a mohol bojovať o medaily. Treba ale poznamenať, že česi nenašli premožiteľa v riadnom hracom čase počas celého šampionátu.

Do štvrťfinále sa prebojovali najlepšie a aktívne tímy. Slovensko (BananaJoe), USA (Honza), Švédsko (JoeBlack) a Kanada (vitocz007) našli svojich premožiteľov a tak kupovali letenky z účastníkov play-off najskôr.

V semifinále sa očakávali väčšie drámy, ale Lotyšsko po dvoch tesných zápasoch vyradilo Nemecko (COLLY) a česi fínov (Houwno).

V zápase o bronz sa stretli tímy Fínska a jemne podguráženého Nemecka kde severania jednoznačne vyhrali 2:0 na zápasy.

Vo finále sa Lotyši (ss19) na domácom štadióne v Rige zdali jednoznačným favoritom voči súperovi z Českej republiky (Matejko25), ktorý ale využil svoje kvality a so silnejším manažérom vyhral 2:0 na zápasy (6:3, -:-) a stal sa majstrom sveta 6. ročíka IIHF Power ligy.

7.ročník IIHF je vyhlásený na jeseň po prázdninách kedy budeme mať viac času na hru, tak príjemný zvyšok leta.

It should be noted, however, that the Czechs did not find a conqueror in the regular playing time during the entire championship.

The best and most active teams made it to the quarterfinals. Slovakia (BananaJoe), USA (Honza), Sweden (JoeBlack) and Canada (vitocz007) found their winners and so they bought tickets from the playoff participants first.

Bigger dramas were expected in the semifinals, but Latvia also eliminated Germany (COLLY) and Czechs Finns (Houwno) after two close matches.

In the bronze medal match, the teams of Finland and gently beaten Germany met, where the Norwegians clearly won 2: 0 in the matches.

In the final, the Latvians (ss19) at the home stadium in Riga seemed a clear favorite against the opponent from the Czech Republic (Matejko25), who used his qualities and with a stronger manager won 2: 0 in matches (6: 3, - :-) and became is the world champion of the 6th year of the IIHF Power League.

The 7th year of the IIHF is announced in the autumn after the holidays when we will have more time to play, so a pleasant rest of the summer.
